I have always given my nieces and nephew a gift of €10 or a €10 voucher for Christmas. Last year, Ada wondered why I wrap their gift, when they know what it will be. So this year, because we all needed a little extra silliness to get us through, and because elaborate jokes on the under 10s is my jam, I saved some packaging and worked on some designs for this ludicrous subterfuge.

Theo’s reaction when he unwrapped: “I got an actual tenner! AND some cardboard!”
